History

Kit
As a kit, crimsonkit had a very bright and vibrant pelt, which unfortunately  faded over time. At this age, he was very sickly, and for safety he lived in the medicine cat's den. During his time there, he learned a lot about herbs and treating wounds, Poppypetal was like a second mother to crimsonkit. Seeing as his birth mother, Acorn pelt, had turned very deppressed and unresponsive after giving birth to a very sickly litter (Only Crimsonkit needed to stay in the medicine cats den at of the litter) And her mate dying days before the birth during  a battle. Acornpelt never spoke or made any sot of eye contact after giving birth to her kits so she was made an elder early.

Apprentice
Crimsonkit was made an apprentice late at 9 moons due to health issues. Crimsonpaw was excited to become an apprentice, but also sad that he had to leave the den and 'mother' that he had spent most of his life with. To tell the truth... He didn't really enjoy the violence of battle training and longed to back in the medicine cat's den with poppypetal, helping around with the herbs and injured cats...
After a while, Crimsonpaw got the hang of battle and he was well on his to becoming a formidable warrior, but he still wished he could help poppypetal. 

Warrior
At the age of 18 moons Crimsonpaw was named Crimsonsprint. But only two moons after this, shadowclan raided windclan over a petty boarder dispute, poppypetal and her apprentice were killed by an unknown cat after trying to defend the nursery. Crimsonsprint was the only cat who could become the medicine cat after Poppypetal, and with a heavy heart, he accepted. 

Medicine cat
Crimsonsprint has been a medicine cat for ten moons now, but the pain of loosing his mentor and 'mother' to the shadowclan cat has not fadded and he now holds a deep grudge against shadowclan.

Personality

Cynical: This is mostly towards shadowclan cats. He believes that shadowclan cats are motivated by self-interest and he has made it a point to not trust them. All of them. He understands that not all cats are driven by self interest but... He will never trust any cat like he did Poppypetal. And he will never trust Shadowclan.

Loyal: Crimsonsprint is very loyal to his clan, leader, and starclan. Despite what starclan did, he believes they had a reason to do what they did. He wouldn't dare break the warrior code. He really takes this to the extreme unfortunately, by being more loyal to starclan and his own clan then he is his own family. This has driven an even lager wedge between he and his siblings, fueling his solitary nature

Solitary: Crimson has made it a point to be a loner, acting oblivious to flirts if or when he gets them and usually just doesn't speak with cats unless he needs to. The only cat he really strikes up conversations with is the leader of the clan and a few close friends. This is Crimsonsprints less savory traits, and some cats may see it as being stuck up or rude, but he is really just insecure about the lives of his clan mates lives. He has nightmares every night about the clan being wiped out by... something horrible but never seen. He is always the only one left and then he wakes up in fear. For his own sanity, he has restrained himself from getting attached.

Swift witted: He is very quick with his words and has a sharp tongue, which makes him useful in dangerous situations That can be talked through calmly. If anyone were to give him trouble on the boarder, he easily talks his way through the dispute, or if it comes to it, fights through it.

Wise beyond his moons: Crimsonsprint has always been mature, but only recently has he really become wise. Using his knowledge and wits to its full potential, he knows many things, mostly about herbs. He loves learning new things, but sharing knowledge is something he doesn't do often.

Grumpy: He isn't a very... cheerful cat to say the least. It takes a special cat to get into the good graces of Crimsonsprint. Really the only one who has managed this has been his mentor. With harsh words and his classic, toxic glare he can shut any cat up who has made him genuinely pissed.  Often times it doesn't take much to set him off, one wrong word, a strange look and he will be at your throat.

Vengeful: Crimsonsprint has been known to hold grudges, and if you mess with any of the cats he has any sort of feelings for, then your pretty much screwed. If you're in his clan, he may refuse to treat you if your injured or sick, or even attack you himself, seeing as he was a warrior before his immediate occupation. This has gotten him into many fights and he has even gotten in trouble with the leader, but seeing as he is the only cat in the clan who can treat the sick and wounded, he was given a warning. Now he is slightly less aggressive.

Kind: Despite being a bit of a grump, Crimsonsprint is a very kind hearted cat and loves helping and healing. He always checks in on the elders, queens and kits. Most of the time it may not seem like he cares for anyone, but he cares deeply for the whole clan, but he hides it behind his emotionless exterior. 

Loves kits: He has always enjoyed the company of kits, watching them play and even playing with them himself. This trait came from Poppypetal. The innocents of youth has always made him smile, how clumsy and carefree kits are.

Very protective: Crimson is dog-ishly protective of kits and queens if they are in danger, and if the clan should be attacked, he can be found by the nursery. Guarding the entrance as his mentor once did.  It is not often that Crimson gives his heart to someone, it has never happened before, But if ever where too he would give his life to protect her and any cat in the tribe.
